Art
Graphic art, including
watercolors, oil paintings and photography, enhances the Outpatient
Center and the Outpatient Center Lobby. The Art Selection Committee
involves members of our staff and donors.
Art as Recognition (art used to recognize significant financial contributions
{donors} to our organization) is exhibited in the Outpatient Center
and the Cancer Center. Pieces include mobiles, tile mosaics and sculptures.

Musical Performance
Volunteers often play piano music in the Outpatient and Admitting
waiting areas to reduce anxiety and offer a pleasant distraction to patients and
their families. |
Above is "Dawn's Gift" a custom tile mural, located in the Comprehensive Cancer Center lobby. It was commissioned in recognition of the FirstHealth employees' generous support for the "In Love and Service" capital campaign. The sunrise emphasizes the promise of new life made possible by the dawning of each new day.
